Current City-Funded Neighborhood Centers

The Neighborhood Center Support funding process in 2019 for 2020 establishes a new, two tiered payment allocation for center support along with clearer and more consistent expectations tied to the receipt of this ongoing funding. The goals of the two tiered structure are to increase equity in center support allocations made to individual centers, create a simplified and transparent approach to center support, and recognize the important role neighborhood centers play in the community. Given the cost in 2020 of migrating to this new allocation model, the City is only accepting proposals in this funding cycle from the 15 currently City funded neighborhood centers. These include:

Badger Rock Neighborhood Center

Bayview Community Center

Boys and Girls Club-Allied

Boys and Girls Club- Taft

Bridge LakePoint Waunona Neighborhood Center

East Madison Community Center

Goodman Community Center

Kennedy Heights Community Center

Lussier Community Education Center

Meadowood Neighborhood Center

Neighborhood House Community Center

Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center

Vera Court Neighborhood Center

Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center

Wisconsin Youth Company- Elver Park

As part of this RFP process the 15 neighborhood centers will also apply for a portion of the City's school-age child and youth program funding. Note there is a separate application process for agencies outside of the 15 City funded neighborhood centers to apply for school-age child and youth funding, information can be found here (Link).

Applicants must attend the Neighborhood Center Support and School-Age Child and Youth Funding Process Workshop on Thursday, June 27th from 9:00-11:00 am or schedule a conversation with City Staff on their proposal prior to 4:00 pm on July 19, 2019 to be eligible to apply. Applications will not be accepted from entities that have not attended a workshop or consulted with staff on their proposals.
