Event Description

Celebrate Madison Bike Week with RoundTrip & Friends!

Join RoundTrip, the Greater Madison MPO, Metro Transit, City of Madison Traffic Engineering, and Madison BCycle for an afternoon commuter station on the Cap City Trail! We’re celebrating car-free mobility with plenty of resources, treats, and giveaways to support your ride.

Stop by to:

  • Grab FREE cookies from FEED Bakery (first 200 visitors)
  • Get a FREE Metro Transit ride (first 100 people)
  • Snag a BCycle ride pass (while supplies last) and enter to win an annual membership
  • Pick up newly redesigned Dane County Bicycle Maps and Bicycle Benefits helmet stickers

You’ll also have a chance to:

  • Check out the MPO’s brand-new electric cargo Data Bike, designed to collect regional trail condition data—and help us name it!
  • Pick up a free Fast Fare card and get the latest from Metro Transit on routes, payment options, and Bus Rapid Transit.
  • Meet Madison BCycle staff, test ride a BCycle, and learn more about their expansion.
  • Practice loading your bike on the bus in a relaxed environment using the new practice rack installed at Metro’s offices just down the block (bring a friend and cheer each other on!).
  • Sign up to be a RoundTrip Bike Buddy and help a neighbor try bike commuting.
  • Learn about Traffic Engineering’s multiuse path etiquette campaign and other safety initiatives.
  • Take the MPO's community survey for the Active Transportation Plan for Dane County and share your input.
