Week Without Driving

  • Date

    Monday, September 29, 2025 – Sunday, October 5, 2025

Event Description

Join the Week Without Driving Challenge

The Week Without Driving Challenge is a nationwide initiative that invites elected officials, transportation professionals, policymakers, and community members to step into the shoes of people who don’t drive. This includes older adults, youth, low-income individuals, students, and people with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities.

The goal is to help everyone, especially those who shape and influence our transportation system, better understand how we can improve mobility and access for all.

This year’s challenge takes place Monday, September 29 – Sunday, October 5, 2025. Try to go the full week without driving your personal vehicle — or start small with just one trip — and see firsthand the opportunities and challenges of getting around without driving.
