Phase 3 (Olin to Beltline)

Phase Three of the project includes the segment of John Nolen Dr from the Beltline Hwy to E Olin Ave, and the segment of E Olin Ave from John Nolen Dr to Wingra Creek. This project has been selected for funding and is expected to be constructed in 2029. 

Phase Three (John Nolen Dr: Beltline Hwy to E Olin Ave; E Olin Ave: John Nolen Dr to Wingra Creek) will include the following improvements:

  • Full pavement and curb & gutter replacement
  • Lane width and cross-section changes to urbanize the roadway and provide traffic calming
  • Reconstruction of storm sewer, including large catch basins for sediment/pollutant collection
  • Improved traffic signals and street lighting
  • Intersection improvements to enhance bike-pedestrian safety and accessibility
  • Evaluate enhanced bike-pedestrian connectivity, including the potential for new path connections
