Cancellation Policies

HR-Organizational Development Course Cancellation Standards

  1. Minimum Registrant Requirement: Our courses require a minimum of 10 registrants to proceed. Registration numbers are closely monitored throughout the year to ensure this requirement is met.
  2. Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the event that the minimum of 10 registrants is not met, the course may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of the facilitator.
  3. Purpose: This policy is in place in an effort to be good stewards of our resources by respecting the time commitments of our facilitators who (most of which) also maintain full-time jobs with the City of Madison. Additionally, we want to ensure optimal class sizes for effective learning and collaboration for all of our learners.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding this policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at

If you're a facilitator who needs to cancel a course you're scheduled to teach...

Please contact to cancel a

course you're teaching prior to taking any action. If possible, please notify us at

least 24 hours in advance of your course start day/time. This will allow our team enough time to ensure all parties who have registered are properly notified, and that back-end course settings are updated to reflect the cancellation or reschedule as needed.
