Neighborhood Description: | South Campus is a student populated neighborhood that is in close proximity to Camp Randall, The Kohls Center, and Southeast Recreational Facility (SERF). Students living in this neighborhood have easy access to UW Campus by walking, transit service, or the Southwest Bike Path. Although the small neighborhood area has no official city parks, residents have easy access to recreational venues at Brittingham Park, Camp Randall Memorial Park, Edward Klief Park, Kohls Center, and Southeast Recreational Facility (SERF). The Neighborhood House Community Center also provides access to an indoor gym and classes. Park and Regent Streets hosts neighborhood-oriented restaurants and shops. |
