West Washington and Henry Street Resurfacing with Utilities
September 4, 2024 Update
For the next week or so, crews will finish installing the storm improvements moving from the intersection of W Wash and Henry southeast down Henry. After that, a short section of water main on W Wash between Henry and Fairchild will be installed. What follows will be pavement and restoration work. We are still anticipating this project will be complete by October 11, 2024.

Project Overview
The overall project includes water and sanitary main replacements, pavement reconstruction, spot replacements of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveway aprons. It will also include improved pedestrian lighting.

For the next week or so, crews will finish installing the storm improvements moving from the intersection of W Wash and Henry southeast down Henry. After that, a short section of water main on W Wash between Henry and Fairchild will be installed. What follows will be pavement and restoration work. We are still anticipating this project will be complete by October 11, 2024.
August 8, 2024 Update
Traffic has shifted to the northwest side of West Washington Avenue, with access to driveways on the southeast side of the street through the construction site. We will continue to have one lane in each direction divided by flexposts with a stop sign at Henry for pedestrians and construction traffic. This general configuration will stay the same for the remainder of the project. In the coming weeks, the contractor will finish installing water main on the northeast end of the project and then move southwest to complete sanitary and storm replacements.
August 8, 2024 Update

May 31, 2024 Update
Work is scheduled to begin the week of June 2, 2024 on West Washington Avenue and Henry Street. Traffic will be shifted to the southeast side of West Washington Avenue as the project starts. Further updates will be posted as work progresses.
