The Red Cross has been experiencing a SEVERE BLOOD SHORTAGE this summer as the number of trauma cases, organ transplants and elective surgeries rise--and deplete the nation's blood inventory. Donors of all blood types are needed and there is an emergency need for type O. The Red Cross is working around the clock to meet the extraordinary blood needs of hospitals and patients but we can't do it alone.
West PD is partnering with the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church to do our part in addressing this severe shortage. Please consider signing up to donate or sharing this information with potential donors. West PD personnel will staff the blood drive and provide treats for donors.
