Join us for a screening and discussion of Deaf President Now! A student-led protest at Gallaudet University led to the appointment of the university’s first Deaf president, Dr. I. King Jordan, marking a turning point in the fight for Deaf rights.

Plain Language Workshop

You learned tips and tools for writing and presenting in plain language in the Plain Language and Effective Communication training. Now it’s time to put those tools into practice! In this workshop, participants will level-up their plain language writing skills in real time. Working in large and small groups you will revise a one-page writing sample.
