Past Employee Voice Survey Accomplishments

Below you'll find some great things that came out of the previous Employee Voice Surveys.

  • The Employee Check-In Process

Where every full-time employee receives a check-in with their supervisor once a year was developed thanks to recommendations and feedback provided in the 2018 survey.

  • #TeamCity Awards

A process through which staff can nominate their coworkers for outstanding service to the community and work in their fields – was another great initiative to come from the Employee Voice Survey.

  • Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups at the City were another staff-led initiative put forth in the survey, put into action by employees like you, and made possible thanks to the City of Madison support.

  • City Communications Manager Position

The addition of a City Communications Manger Position (aka, Dylan Brogan) was created from needs identified in the 2018 Employee Voice Survey results.

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the City's communications and outreach activities.

  • The Mentorship Program

This program was initially piloted in 2023 and continues to grow. Learn more by visiting the Mentorship Program webpage linked above.
