Construction is anticipated to begin in fall 2023 and will be performed by City staff.. This project is currently in the planning and permitting phase.

Project Overview

This project will repair approximately 150’ of eroding riprap shoreline at Giddings Park.  The proposed design will use existing salvageable glacial stone, and imported stone to rebuild the riprap protection along the park shoreline.

Project Schedule

Construction is anticipated to begin in fall 2023.

There are no public input meetings proposed for this riprap repair maintenance project. Letters will be sent to adjacent residents with additional information prior to construction.  Questions and concerns can be sent to the Project Manager or Madison Parks at
