Project Overview
This project follows the large grading operations of the ponds as part of the Lower Badger Mill Creek Pond Project.
The ecological restoration species, approach, and methodology was informed by an ecological assessment completed in 2023.
This project includes integrated pest management, native seeding, installation of wetland and emergent plants, and installation of native trees and shrubs to restore native plant ecosystems on this large stormwater utility parcel.
The current contract provides ecological restoration management on the property until December 2025. In order to ensure long-term success of the native seeding, this area will be maintained by an ecological firm for several years following this contract.
