The design team will attend and present the project design to the Transportation Commission on September 16, 2026 for approval.
Members of the public are encouraged to watch, register in support/opposition, speak (3 minutes), and/or submit written comments. You can send an email to TransportationCommission@cityofmadison.com to voice your opinion for the project.
To register for the upcoming meeting enter the City's website. If you register to speak, make sure the name you display in Zoom matches the name you registered under so staff know who to unmute when it's your turn. TC meetings start at 5 p.m. and individual project review starts based on its placement on the agenda. Public hearings start at 6 p.m. and you can join at any time.

The City is proposing a shared use path project to extend the existing University Crossing Bike Path towards Old Middleton Road and Craig Ave. The project includes an underpass of the WSOR Railroad.
