Project Information

Project Overview

Installation of a roughly 25 kW solar photovoltaic system at Madison Fire Department Station 09. The system will consist of roof mounted modules and will produce an estimated 30,000 kWh per year. Once complete 68% of the building’s electricity usage will be generated by the solar array.  The array will be installed by the Engineering Division’s GreenPower program where trainees with little to no electrical skills are provide on-the-job training through solar installations on City buildings.
