July 10, 2025 Update
The official start date for this project is August 25th. The general contractor performing the work will be R.G. Huston. The contractor must complete the Hancock cul-de-sac this year but can elect to work on other blocks if they so desire. Sometime in the 3rd-4th weeks of July, Huston could begin potholing Main St for utilities. This is to confirm depth of existing utilities and expedites construction for underground utilities. MG&E and their contractor, Intercon, will most likely start installing their underground electric package around the same time under a permit.
