Course Description

Do your virtual meetings sound like this: “Should this meeting have been an email?” “Can you hear me?” “You are on mute.” Are you stuck in virtual meeting facilitation fatigue?

Whether you facilitate meetings with staff or large public engagement efforts, making Zoom and Teams meetings more accessible is important for better participation and collaboration. In this session, you will learn how to engage participants by fostering inclusive and accessible meetings.  Level up your facilitation skills with simple practices you can use to make meetings more accessible for everyone.  Build your language access and disability inclusion skills by becoming more familiar with Teams and Zoom features for interpretation, captioning, and screensharing.

Presented by: Rebecca Hoyt - DCR, Cass Hill - IT
