Pontiac, Boston, Nokomis, and Rosewood Reconstruction
January 12, 2026 Update
Happy new year and thank you to everyone who participated in the project approval process before the holidays. The Transportation Commission, Board of Public Works, and Common Council have approved this project and the design team is busy preparing the plans and specifications. The scope of the project has expanded to include storm sewer replacement on Mohican Pass, but this work will not be assessed. We anticipate the design process will be completed and that the project will be placed for contractor bids by this spring. Over the next few weeks I will be reaching out to specific residents to acquire rights of entry so that the contractor has enough space to work, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

Project Overview
The project includes full pavement reconstruction, new curb & gutter, new sidewalk, new storm sewer, replacement of sanitary mains and laterals in select areas, and replacement of water main in select areas.
