Starting Sunday, August 17
Starting Sunday, August 17, Metro's Route D2 will provide all-day service to Verona!
Route D2 will operate every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 60 minutes on nights and weekends.
Get to the following Verona destinations!
Verona Park & Ride, Ice Age National Scenic Trail, Verona Little League Complex, Hometown Community Park, Verona Ice Arena, United Stated Postal Service, Century School Park, Art House 360, Azura Memory Care and Assisted Living, Verona Area High School, and Epic Systems.

There will be some schedule adjustments on Route 75 due to trips to Verona being reallocated to Route D2.
Paratransit
Paratransit service will also be available to those who live within 3/4 miles of Route D2 bus stops. Additional information on how to sign up for paratransit is listed below.

Pick Up Your Fast Fare!
- Pick up a Fast Fare card at the Metro Transit Administration Office, Verona City Hall, public library, or through the mail by emailing mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com. You must also create a Fast Fare Account, register your card, and add funds to your card before riding Metro Transit.

How much does it cost to ride?
An adult fare costs $2.00. Youth, seniors, those with disabilities, and those with low incomes are eligible for half-price fares.
Sign up for a Fast Fare account and automatically get Metro's daily, weekly, and monthly ride discounts through fare capping.
How do I pay a fare?
First, create a Fast Fare account. You can add money online or through the Metro Transit Fast Fares App. You can also get a Fast Fare card at Verona City Hall, the Verona library, Metro Transit (1245 E. Washington Ave.), any Madison public library, or by email request at mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com.
If you're paying with cash:
- Available on regular bus stops (blue metal signs), pay when you board.
- At BRT stations, use the vending machines before getting on the bus.
- BRT Buses do not accept cash.

Can I transfer to other routes to get further into Madison?
Yes, you can ride Route D2 or 75 all the way into Madison as well as transfer to other routes. A free 2-hour transfer window is built into your Fast Fare card.
Please note: Cash is not accepted on BRT buses; only Fast Fare cards or paper tickets purchased from vending machines at most BRT platforms.
How do I sign up for paratransit?
To start, you need to fill out an application. Applications are available online or by calling Metro's Customer Service at (608) 266-4466 to receive one by mail.

How much does paratransit cost to ride?
Each ride costs $3.25. Metro's Fast Fare system is not yet available for paratransit service. You can use cash or purchase paper tickets. You can purchase tickets at Metro Transit or through the mail.
