Stop Change Proposal
Proposing to move Route S from Market St. to Bristol St. to avoid detours caused by event street closures.
Stop 9487 on Market will be replaced with an eastbound stop nearby. A new northbound stop on Bristol after Linnerud will serve a senior living housing complex.
Transportation Commission Meeting
This proposed update will be discussed at the Transportation Commission meeting on Wednesday, June 25, at 5:00 pm.

Recently Approved Stops
Due to a development project, stop 2600 will be closed. Routes 28 and 38 will use stop 2398 instead, with Metro changing the loop direction to improve service and reduce left turns.
Proposed to close stops 4519 and 4918 at Verona Avenue and Todd Street, and move them to Verona Avenue and Nine Mound, with a new end-of-line stop at West End and Wild Cat Way for Route D2. Stop 4310 would also move to the far side of Legion Street, where a new traffic signal is planned.
Route D2 will be rerouted from Fitchrona and Nesbitt to Kapec Road north of McKee, closing stops 4828, 4713, 4132, and 4649, removing stop 4379, and moving stops 4984 and 4541 south to McKee and Kapec. A new stop pair will also be added at McKee and Manchester to improve access to destinations east of the route.
The South Transfer Point will close in December 2025 due to the Park Badger redevelopment project. Metro plans to move several bus stops, including those for Routes B, G, H, O, and 75, to nearby locations, improving Route B’s on-time performance and supporting the future North-South BRT project.
