Cold Weather Riding

Extreme Cold Expected This Weekend

Service Continues

Service is expected to continue operating during the upcoming stretch of extreme cold.

However, Metro encourages riders to only travel as necessary.

Sign up for email and text alerts to stay on top of any potential service changes or adjustments.

Paratransit

Paratransit riders not traveling tomorrow are asked to please cancel their rides as far in advance as possible. 

Call (608) 266-4466 to cancel or adjust your ride. 

Travel Tips

Please keep the following riding tips in mind when traveling during cold weather.

  • Only travel if absolutely necessary
  • Be sure to dress warmly
  • Track your bus using Metro's bus tracker or the Transit app.
  • Add Metro’s Customer Service number (608) 266-4466 to your cell phone before heading out.
