Contractor Parking Permits
Contractor parking permits are available for contractors, repair personnel, and moving companies working in areas where parking is non-metered but limited to one- or two-hour time restrictions. These permits allow extended parking while work is being performed.
Permit Rate
- $5.00 per vehicle, per day

Parking Rules & Restrictions
- Permits are valid only in open, non-metered, parking spaces. Parking availability is not guaranteed.
- Parking in excess of posted one- or two-hour time restrictions is allowed.
- Vehicles must follow posted regulations:
- Peak-hour travel lanes
- Street sweeping zones
- Any area where parking is temporarily prohibited
- Vehicles may not idle for more than 5 minutes, in accordance with Madison General Ordinances (MGO 12.1291 & 28.141).
