Hangtag Parking Permits
Hangtag parking permits are available for contractors and repair personnel who need to park in areas with metered parking. These permits provide added flexibility, allowing use at multiple locations throughout the city.
Permit Rates
- Full-Day Permit: $18.00
- Half-Day Permit: $10.00

Parking Rules & Restrictions
- Permits are valid only in open metered parking spaces. Parking availability is not guaranteed.
- Time-specific parking restrictions remain in effect.
- Vehicles must follow posted regulations:
- Peak-hour travel lanes
- Street sweeping zones
- Any area where parking is temporarily prohibited
- Vehicles may not idle for more than 5 minutes, in accordance with Madison General Ordinances (MGO 12.1291 & 28.141).
