Yesterday the North and East Police Districts participated in "Operation Giving Hope" at Motel 6 in the East Towne area. Joining the Madison Police Department was a number of other law enforcement agencies, fire department, a number of non-profit agencies, school district. Fifty two families were helped in the area of housing, school, transportation, health insurance, etc. One hundred back packs filled with school supplies were handed out and nine individuals had been a victim of human trafficking. Great work by all involved!
