Message from the North District Captain

My name is Capt Jay Lengfeld and I have been a member of the Madison Police Department for over 32 years.  My last two assignments have been the Executive Captain of Operations the last two years and five years as the Captain of the West Police District.  I have previous experience in the North District as the Detective Lieutenant in the early 2000s under Capt Mike Masterson.  I am looking forward to working with the residents of the North side again and believe if we work together we can make great improvements to the quality of life here on the North side.   I am planning on using this social media tool to keep residents informed on what is occurring on the North side, so please help me get the word out.
