Head Rest Reminder
Reminder to all operators:
The head restraint, commonly referred to as “head rest” is not to be removed from any bus.
In a bus driver seat application, head restraints must be left in place while in operation as a key piece of safety equipment.
The head rest is there to reduce the risk of whiplash and neck injury in the event of a crash.
Without it, the seat does not meet safety design standards set forth by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Thank you.
