Thank You Bus Drivers!
No really, thank you!!! No one wants to drive this morning and the roads were God awful. They might not be exactly on time, but the bus must go on. Took the bus today and we had a very friendly driver that was making everyone’s day just a little better. Thank you Metro drivers and staff for keeping us moving today!!!
Metro Bus On Time
My D line was on time this AM much to my amazement. Thank you to all the bus drivers and crews for keeping our buses running!
Route B at First St. Station – 2:11 p.m.
Despite the winter storm, the bus arrived at a reasonable time. My driver was quite caring too! Appreciate the reliable service. The bus stop was also nicely shoveled.
Route 38
Thank you to your bus drivers for being out in this weather today! I took the 38 from Monona this morning and it was right on time, with no issues getting to the Capitol. Appreciate you!
Route L
I was shoveling snow early this morning near Sherman Ave, in the crazy blizzard-ish conditions, and I was the only one out there other than the city plows and the L bus. On the north side, people really depend on Metro transit to get to work, and I just wanted to send a big shout out of thanks to whoever you have driving the L who got to work early in today’s snow storms to ensure my neighbors got to work. Thank you!
All Operators
Many many kudos to all the drivers today who are safely transporting those of us who are not allowed to stay home! I took a B to the square and then an R1 into campus this morning, and though there were a couple slippery spots, I never felt unsafe at any time. Thank you all for providing your excellent service in such rough conditions.
Thank You!
The bus drivers on my rides today were excellent! I especially appreciated the extra care they took to aim their doors to the lowest parts of drifting snow to make entering and exiting the buses easier.
Really appreciate all the work y'all are doing on what must have been a challenging day.
Wonderful Driver on Route 38
Just wanted to say that the driver on route #38, bus #124 was absolutely lovely today in navigating the weather, construction, snow stuck cars blocking the road and keeping an eye out for folks near (but not at) stops due to the heavy snow drifts several feet deep at stops.
