April 5, 2024 Update
Thank you to all who attended the public meeting on March 21st, and everyone who has emailed, called, or spoken with me in person. With approval from the Transportation Commission and outright support from a majority of questionnaire respondents, the design team is moving forward with Option A pending approval from the Board of Public Works and Common Council. See link below for the preliminary design plan view, which includes planned tree removals marked with an X (all on page 3).
If you said you were interested in a raingarden in the questionnaire, we are narrowing down those properties which are eligible, and you will be receiving an email from our team when we have a preliminary determination.
Additionally, if you have or would like a walkway between your house and the street/sidewalk, please reach out to the project manager to discuss options. We will be reaching out to all those we have contact information for to iron out the walkway details according to homeowner preference.

Project Information
Project Overview
The overall project includes full pavement reconstruction, new curb & gutter, new sidewalk, replacement of sanitary and water mains, and replacement of storm sewer where necessary.
Doncaster Drive, Beverly Road, and Danbury Street are being reconstructed with new curb & gutter and sidewalk. Parking will be allowed on one side only. The terrace (between the sidewalk and street) will be 2.5 ft. The options in Exhibit A have been developed to reflect three competing priorities: pedestrian safety and convenience, maintenance of existing trees, and proper street width.
