Course Description

​A substantial number of workers face technology access barriers on the job. This session is designed as a drop-in space for City staff to receive personalized support to remove those technology-related access barriers so everyone can participate in City businesses and services.

Learning Objectives:

  1. ​​Remove workplace technology barriers with support from IT and the Disability Rights and Services Program​.
  2. ​​Learn how to use built-in accessibility features and settings​.
  3. ​​Get recommendations for other accessibility resources​ 

How does it work?

IT and the Disability Rights and Services Program will be available to answer questions about computer settings, accessibility features, creating accessible materials, using Language Line and troubleshoot access issues.  


What do I need to participate? 

Bring your laptop or device and questions!


When should I attend?

This is a drop-in session.  That means you can join the meeting any time between the scheduled start time and end time. 


Do I need to attend the whole time?

No. You can log off or leave  once you have the information you need or when the access issue has been resolved.


Do I need to register?

Nope.  Just drop-in.
