EAP Support Groups
We recognize that recent events over the past three weeks may be affecting employees, departments, and communities in various and different ways. EAP has been working in partnership with city Affinity group leaders and co-leaders, and the EAP Facilitator Network to expand the support available to employees during this time.
In the coming weeks, EAP will offer several voluntary support opportunities designed to respond to the different experiences and needs of our employee communities. These supportive gatherings will provide opportunities to share experiences, build connection, and explore helpful ways to care for and support yourself during this time.
The conversations will be centered around restorative practices, with an emphasis on listening, reflection, connection, and mutual support. These employee supportive spaces are not intended to create/re-create harm, assign blame, or serve as a forum for debate.
