Commuting & Travel
Getting where you need to go—whether it’s a quick errand or your daily commute to work or school—doesn’t have to mean hopping in the car. That's where RoundTrip Greater Madison comes in.
RoundTrip is a public program helping individuals and employers in Dane County connect to convenient, affordable, and sustainable alternatives to driving alone.

Our Funding
RoundTrip is funded through a combination of federal grants from the Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration—including the Surface Transportation Block Grant – Urban Program and the Metropolitan Planning Program—with additional support from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
We also receive financial support for program marketing from local partners including the City of Madison, Metro Transit, Dane County Highway & Transportation, and UW–Madison Transportation Services. Dane County Highway & Transportation funds all rides taken through the Emergency Ride Home program.
