On 7/22/19 Madison Police Officers conducted a traffic grant in the 600 block of John Nolen Drive. There were four "stop cars" and an Officer operating the laser to capture speeds. It was frustrating to read the Officer's email this morning outlining the fact that 19 stops were made in less than four hours. The lowest speed was for 49 mph, while the top speed was 64. . . keeping in mind that John Nolen Drive's speed LIMIT is 35 mph in the stretch they were positioned. We can all drive smarter and safer in order to save lives. Be safe out there!
