Course Description

If you have deferred compensation through Lincoln Financial, please attend one of these informational sessions to provide you with more on the transition to Fidelity Investments.

Working with our plan consultants, The Capital Group at Lincoln Financial Advisors, the City recently completed a review of retirement plan providers and is excited to share that we have selected Fidelity Investments® as our new provider of recordkeeping and trustee services. The City of Madison Deferred Compensation Plan (the “Plan”) currently serviced by EPIC Retirement will move to Fidelity effective December 1, 2022. This move does not affect accounts at Mission Square/ICMA.

The Plan at Fidelity will offer:

  • Lower administration fees*.
  • The NetBenefits® website and mobile app to easily access and manage your account.
  • The latest technology to help protect your personal information and financial transactions.
  • A revised lineup of investment options.
  • Online planning tools, videos, and workshops to help you make decisions for your future.

You’ll also continue to have the same great local service you expect from The Capital Group to help you plan for your financial goals.

There is no action required from you for your account to move to Fidelity. Your contributions – or distributions if you are retired – will continue through the transition. The Plan’s provisions will not be changing as part of this transition although some new services will be added. Please attend these important sessions to learn more about the transition!
