Tenney Park Beach Shelter
Project Overview
City Engineering, in conjunction with Madison Parks and Dane County, will be replacing the existing beach shelter and installing a clean beach treatment system at Tenney Park in 2022-2023.
The building will include a pump room as part of the Clean Beach system announced in August 2019, a joint project between the City of Madison and Dane County. Tenney Park Beach Shelter will be the sixth prototype park shelter and restrooms. Previous prototype shelters are located at Lake Edge Park; Esther Beach; Penn Park, Walter Street at Olbrich Park and Warner Beach, currently under construction. A neighborhood informational meeting is being planned for February 2021.
