Search using Date Fields
When searching for a file or files, enter data into the CC Agenda Date field to limit the search results to only include files which have or will appear on a Council agenda.
The CC Agenda Date field and other Legistar date fields accept any of the following data when searching:
- date
- date range
- formula
- any combination of the above options
Enter a Date
If the specific date is known, enter the date into the date field.
Use Beginning and End Dates
To find files in a specific time period, enter specific beginning and end dates, separated by the word "to".
For example:
- 1/1/25 to 5/15/25
Use a Formula
For additional search options, you can use variables in any date field. Use any of the following variables in a formula to search a date or date range.
- D = day
- W = week
- M = month
- Y = year
- T = today.
When creating a date formula, use a negative symbol "-" to represent dates in the past and the positive symbol "+" to represent dates in the future. Additionally, you can create a date range using two formulas or by using a specific date in combination with a formula.
For example:
- Enter -3M to T in the File Created Date to search on files created 3 months in the past to today
- Enter -1Y to 1/1/## (where ## represents the current year) in the CC Agenda Date field to search on files which appeared on the council agenda between 1 year ago and January 1 of the current year
