Please help our plow drivers

The City of Madison has declared a snow emergency today, February 12, 2019. This means alternate side parking restrictions will be in effect tonight for the Snow Emergency Zone as well as the rest of the City of Madison.  The snow emergency will remain in effect until at least 7 a.m. on February 14, 2019.

Snow Emergency Zone Information
The Snow Emergency Zone extends from Park Street to Thornton Avenue and the Yahara River, and between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona.

Alternate Side Parking Rules
Vehicles parked on the street should be parked on the odd house numbered side of the street between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on odd numbered dates.

Vehicles should be parked on the even house numbered side of the street between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on even numbered dates.

Violations of the alternate side parking ordinance are punishable by fines of $20. The fine increases to $60 during a declared Snow Emergency.
