The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 05/08/2023 through 6:00 a.m. on 05/09/2023, MPD received ____ calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (77),East (96), Midtown (70), North (73), South (41), West (44), and Other (11). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

05/08

EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 7:27 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 16-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and simple battery.

WEST: Sexual Assault – 9:18 a.m. A subject reported a sexual assault that occurred in the past with a known acquaintance.  Investigation continuing.

CENTRAL: PNB Response – 9:59 a.m. Officers responded, along with EMS, to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject. Naloxone administered. The subject was conveyed to a local hospital.

SOUTH: Missing/Runaway Juvenile – 12:25 p.m. Officers responded to a report of two missing juveniles. K9 responded. Investigation continuing.

NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 1:15 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 18-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic criminal damage to property.

NORTH: Theft – 2:14 p.m. Officers received a theft complaint. A 25-year-old male subject was arrested for theft. A second subject remains at-large with probable cause active for theft as well.

NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 6:00 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted. A 29-year-old male driver/subject fled on foot. The subject was apprehended and arrested for resisting, eluding and outstanding warrants.

NORTH: Missing Adult – 6:23 p.m. Officers received a report of a missing suicidal subject. Attempt to locate aired. Phone plotted near Chicago. The subject was entered as missing/endangered in the appropriate databases.

SOUTH: Drug Incident – 7:29 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a 53-year-old female subject experiencing a drug overdose. Naloxone was administered and the subject was conveyed to a local hospital. The subject was provided a felony order-in citation for possession of heroin.

SOUTH: Check Person – 11:33 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject who stated they had been stabbed. The subject was located with a few cuts. The subject was conveyed to a local hospital. The subject was intoxicated and uncooperative. Investigation continuing.  

05/09

EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 12:06 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 30-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, battery and intimidation of a victim.

NORTH: Disturbance – 4:49 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance where property damage occurred, a physical fight broke out and a subject had a gun. Subjects contacted. Investigation continuing.
