The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 6/3/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 6/4/2025, MPD received 432 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (77),East (89), Midtown (72), North (78), South (49), West (61), and Other (6). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

West/Unwanted Person – 4:24am: Officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject (33-year-old male) causing a disturbance. The subject was arrested for trespassing, resisting, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
North/Adult Arrested Person – 5:02am: Officers responded to a report that the caller (34-year-old male) was reporting that people were trying to harm him. EMS arrived and the subject took off. The caller went to a neighbor's home and was bleeding. Officers attempted to stabilize the subject. The subject took off on foot and was located covered in blood and naked. The subject was ultimately taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. The subject was left in the care of medical staff and issued order-in citations for resisting and disorderly conduct. The subject also has a probation/parole hold pending.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 1:20pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 46-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 3:45pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 43-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic criminal damage to property.
East/Theft from Auto – 7:07pm: A gun was reported as missing/stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The gun was entered as missing/stolen in the appropriate databases.
Midtown/Disturbance – 11:16pm: Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. A victim was located with a single stab wound. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment. A 39-year-old male subject was arrested for 2nd degree reckless endangering safety. Knife located/recovered.
Midtown/Mental Health Conveyance – 11:18pm: Officers responded to a local hospital for a subject in need of an emergency detention. Transport to Winnebago pending.

Central/Disturbance – 12:15am: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a gun observed. Contact made with a 19-year-old female subject who was intoxicated and uncooperative. She received a citation for underage drinking and disorderly conduct. A 20-year-old male subject received a citation for underage drinking. A BB gun was determined to have been involved, but no charges related to this developed.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 1:04am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, intimidation of a victim, battery to a police officer, and a probation hold.
Central/Disturbance – 1:44am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, and bail jumping. He was cited for trespassing.
