The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 11/07/2022 through 6:00 a.m. on 11/08/2022, MPD received 406 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (64),East (87), Midtown (63), North (65), South (38), West (63), and Other (26). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

EAST: Missing Adult – 7:11 a.m.  An 18-year-old female was reported as missing.  Attempt to locate aired.  The subject was listed as missing in the appropriate databases. 

EAST: Check Person – 8:46 a.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject.  Subject located/contacted.  No legal action deemed necessary by officers.  Officers disengaged.

EAST: Missing/Runaway Juvenile – 11:13 a.m. A 10-year-old male was reported as missing/runaway.  Attempt to locate aired.  Areas checked.  The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.  **Juvenile located and returned home.

MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 11:35 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 40-year-old female suspect.  The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct while armed and an outstanding warrant. 

MIDTOWN: Stolen Auto – 2:22 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from a dealership.  Attempt to locate aired. 

CENTRAL: Conveyance – 5:40 p.m.  Officers, along with EMS/MFD, dispatched to an intoxicated subject.  The subject was conveyed to a local hospital. 

WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 6:00 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old male suspect.  The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts), domestic criminal damage to property and domestic battery.   

WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 7:09 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 41-year-old male suspect.  The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts). 

EAST: Battery – 8:08 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old male suspect.  The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery, felony bail jumping and issued a municipal citation for trespassing. 

MIDTOWN: Child Abuse – 8:57 p.m. A 36-year-old female suspect was arrested for child abuse and an outstanding warrant. 

SOUTH: Domestic Disturbance – 9:30 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 27-year-old male suspect.  The suspect was not on scene when officers arrived.  Probable cause developed to arrest the suspect once he is located. 

NORTH: Drug Incident – 9:50 p.m. Officers responded to a subject/suspect (35-year-old male) experiencing a drug overdose.  Naloxone administered.  The suspect attempted to flee on foot.  The suspect obtained a medical clearance and was transported to jail for possession of heroin, resisting and a probation/parole hold.

Priority calls only from 12:29 a.m. to 3:06 a.m. due to calls for service.

MIDTOWN: Adult Arrested Person – 2:02 a.m. A 37-year-old female suspect was arrested for trespassing and resisting.
