The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 09/19/2023 through 6:00 a.m. on 09/20/2023, MPD received ______ calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (),East (), Midtown (), North (), South (), West (), and Other (). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency. ** This data was not available at the time of this posting, as well as priority calls for service data was not available.

SOUTH: Crash – 5:04 a.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash westbound on the Beltline near Rimrock Rd. Two lanes shut down temporarily. No injuries.

CENTRAL: Stolen Auto – 6:40 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from the street. Attempt to locate aired. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases. *Vehicle located/recovered.

WEST: Death Investigation – 10:04 a.m. Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (88-year-old female). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.

NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 12:08 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject (51-year-old male) lurking around in a parking lot and working on a motorcycle. Officers arrived and the subject fled on foot. The subject was apprehended and detained. The subject was found to have several outstanding warrants. The subject was transported to jail on the warrants and new charges – resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping.

NORTH: Disturbance – 1:05 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 13-year-old male subject. Child Protective Services plugged in. The subject was arrested for theft, battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

CENTRAL: Domestic Disturbance – 2:13 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 17-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic strangulation and disorderly conduct.

NORTH: Disturbance – 4:35 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a 37-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.

EAST: Battery – 5:06 p.m. Officers responded to the 6800 block of Milwaukee St for a report of a fight. A subject was located with injuries. The subject reported that an unknown male subject attacked him as he was walking home. Investigation continuing.

SOUTH: Armed Robbery – 8:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 2800 block of Todd Drive for an armed robbery. An unknown male subject told two victims to get on the ground and to give him their wallets. A gun was displayed and pressed up against the back of one of the victims. Subject fled. SOUTH: Domestic Disturbance – 9:26 p.m. Officers responded to sounds of a disturbance. A 49-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping.

EAST: Fatal Crash – 9:50 p.m. Officers responded to a single vehicle crash (motorcycle). The motorcyclist/subject was conveyed to a local hospital in critical condition. The subject was pronounced deceased. A witness reported observing the motorcyclist driving at an excessive speed.

EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 11:36 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old female. The subject was conveyed to detox and also cited for resisting.
