The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 11/11/2022 through 6:00 a.m. on 11/14/2022, MPD received 945 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (186), East (176), Midtown (155), North (148), South (103), West (130), and Other (47). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 5:27 p.m. to 5:39 p.m. due to calls for service.

MIDTOWN: Runaway Juvenile – 4:20 a.m.  A 16-year-old male was reported as a runaway.  Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.

MIDTOWN: Disturbance – 6:19 a.m.  Officers responded to a hospital where a 34-year-old male suspect was fighting with hospital staff.  The suspect was arrested on a warrant and conveyed to jail.

WEST: Assist Fire – 11:34 a.m.  Officers responded to the West Towne Mall parking lot where a vehicle caught fire.  No injuries or other damage was reported.

NORTH: Intoxicated Driver – 12:17 p.m.  Officers responded to a report of a 38-year-old male suspect threatening his parole agent.  Officers located the suspect in his vehicle and determined he was impaired.  The suspect refused to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (1st offense) and resisting.

SOUTH: Disturbance – 1:09 p.m.  Officers responded to detox where staff reported the 60-year-old male suspect was yelling, making threats, and attempting to fight with staff.  The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct.

EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 2:47 p.m.  Officers responded to a clinic where a patient showed up with a gunshot wound to the foot.  Officers determined there was probable cause to arrest the 18-year-old subject for a previous charge of physical abuse to a child.  After being medically cleared the subject was conveyed to jail.

CENTRAL: Disturbance – 3:00 p.m.  Officers responded to the 600 block of State St where the 20-year-old male suspect caused a disturbance at several businesses and damaged property.  The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and several counts of bail jumping.

CENTRAL: Check Person – 3:39 p.m.  Officers contacted a subject who was reportedly suicidal.  The subject said she was not suicidal but would not meet with officers or tell them where she was.  Attempt to locate aired.  The subject was listed as missing in the appropriate databases.

CENTRAL: Battery – 3:54 p.m.  Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 16-year-old female suspect.  Officers consulted with Journey Mental Health.  The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and substantial battery.

EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 4:45 p.m.  Officers responded to a residence where the 17-year-old female suspect threatened to harm herself and family members and kicked a hole in the wall.  The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, damage to property and intimidation of a victim.

CENTRAL: Disturbance – 5:43 p.m.  The victim reported he was driving in the area of Doty St and King St when another driver pulled up next to him and waved a gun at him.  A passenger in the victim's vehicle did not see a gun.  Officers reviewed city camera footage and did not observe an obvious disturbance or road rage incident.  Officers attempted to contact the registered owner of the other involved vehicle without success.

WEST: Traffic Crash – 7:20 p.m.  Officers responded to S Whitney Way at the beltline for a crash.  Investigation continuing.

EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 9:09 p.m.  Officers made contact with a 46-year-old female suspect who was wanted on multiple warrants.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

WEST: Domestic Disturbance – 10:30 p.m.  Officers responded to a residence where the 27-year-old male suspect pushed the victim to the ground, took her phone, and pushed her up against a door.  Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for domestic battery and disorderly conduct.  Suspect is at large.

CENTRAL: Disturbance/Weapons Offense – 11:38 p.m.  Officers responded to the 400 block of W Gilman St for a report of people fighting, including a 27-year-old suspect who reportedly had a gun.  The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, resisting and bail jumping.

Priority calls only from 6:19 p.m. to 10:57 p.m. due to calls for service.

WEST: Drug Incident/Investigation – 1:13 a.m.  An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing short term traffic in a residential parking lot.  The vehicle displayed improper registration and traveled at excessive speeds on the beltline after leaving the area.  During the traffic stop officers located a firearm and drugs in the vehicle, as well as drugs on the 38-year-old male suspect/driver.  The suspect was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon, and several drug possession charges.

EAST: Non-Residential Burglary – 10:24 a.m.  Officers responded with MFD firefighters to a smoke alarm call in the 5200 block of High Crossing.  Officers determined the unidentified suspect(s) forced open a back door and caused some damage inside the building.  Investigation continuing.

NORTH: Adult Arrested Person – 1:12 p.m.  A 38-year-old male suspect with outstanding warrants was located, taken into custody and transported to jail.  

NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 1:12 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male suspect.  Suspect not on scene when officers arrived.  Probable cause developed to arrest the suspect once he is located. 

CENTRAL: Domestic Disturbance – 3:05 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male suspect.  Suspect not on scene when officers arrived.  Probable cause developed to arrest the suspect once he is located. 

EAST: Intoxicated Driver – 7:44 p.m. Officers responded to a crash.  The suspect driver (28-year-old male) was conveyed to a local hospital with injuries.  The suspect was cited for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense) and multiple traffic citations.  No other injuries reported. 

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 11:55 p.m.  A 23-year-old male suspect was arrested for trespass after notice and disorderly conduct.

WEST: Drug Incident – 11:59 p.m.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver/passenger (20-year-old male and 18-year-old male) were both arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC.

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 1:12 a.m. A 21-year-old male suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at a downtown establishment.

CENTRAL: Disturbance – 1:16 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 42-year-old male suspect.  The suspect was arrested for substantial battery and outstanding warrants.  A 28-year-old male suspect was cited for disorderly conduct. 

CENTRAL: Disturbance – 2:01 a.m.  Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 23-year-old female suspect.  The suspect was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct. 

MIDTOWN: Residential Burglary – 2:30 a.m. A victim reported coming home to find the door to the residence kicked in.  Personal items missing/stolen. 

MIDTOWN: Check Person  - 9:17 a.m.  Officers received a request to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject.  Subject contacted and conveyed to a local hospital.  Subject determined to be intoxicated and will be conveyed to detox after a medical clearance. 

MIDTOWN: Property Damage – 2:35 p.m.  A homeowner reported damage to a window believed to be caused by a bullet hole.  No additional damage located. 

CENTRAL: Stolen Auto – 4:00 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen.  Attempt to locate aired.  The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases.    

SOUTH: Stolen Auto – 5:50 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from a convenience store parking lot.  The vehicle was left unlocked, unoccupied and running with the keys inside.  Attempt to locate aired. The vehicle was listed as stolen in the appropriate databases. 

CENTRAL: Mental Health Conveyance – 6:58 p.m. Officers received a request to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject.  The subject was conveyed to a local hospital for an evaluation.  Journey Mental Health plugged in.  Transport to Winnebago pending. 

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 11:24 p.m. Officers responded to numerous concerns of a 44-year-old male suspect trespassing.  The suspect was arrested for trespassing.

EAST: Domestic Disturbance – 12:04 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male suspect. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery, disorderly conduct and intimidation of a victim. 

MIDTOWN: Domestic Disturbance – 12:44 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 43-year-old male suspect. Probable cause developed for the suspect who remains at-large.
