The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 5/14/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 5/15/2025, MPD received 454 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (66),East (90), Midtown (88), North (72), South (61), West (68), and Other (9). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

North/Crash – 5:30am: A truck too tall for a RR bridge on Todd Drive near Marcy Rd got stuck under it. No injuries sustained. WI South Railroad and Traffic/Engineering notified. Truck towed.
North/Disturbance – 6:30am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 55-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and a probation/parole violation.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 8:23am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 22-year-old female subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
Central/Retail Theft – 8:57am: Officers responded to a retail theft involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for retail theft, misdemeanor bail jumping (5 counts), felony bail jumping, and cited for unlawful trespassing after notification.
North/Domestic Disturbance – 2:04pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 30-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
East/Battery – 5:34pm: Officers responded to a disturbance. A 14-year-old female subject was arrested for battery and resisting. Probable cause developed to arrest a second subject, who remains at-large.
City-Wide/Recovered Stolen Auto – 8:45pm: A stolen vehicle was recovered. Owner notified.
Central/Fight Call – 11:36pm: Officers responded to a report of a large fight. A 27-year-old female subject was arrested for disorderly conduct. A 25-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping. A 24-year-old male subject was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct, and a probation hold. A 23-year-old female subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of MDMA, and open intoxicants.

North/Sexual Assault – 1:43am: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Investigation continuing.
