The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 2/28/2024 through 6:00 a.m. on 2/29/2024, MPD received 417 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (67),East (69), Midtown (67), North (68), South (57), West (79), and Other (10). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Persoon – 7:59 a.m. A 33-year-old female subject, with an outstanding warrant, was contacted and taken into custody.
SOUTH: Check Person – 8:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. A subject was contacted and found to have an active Chapter 54 return. The subject was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance. Final destination will be Winnebago.
NORTH: Domestic Disturbance – 12:13 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 54-year-old male subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject.
MIDTOWN: Trespassing – 2:41 p.m. A 47-year-old female subject was arrested for trespassing.
CENTRAL: Adult Arrested Person – 4:23 p.m. A 34-year-old female subject was arrested for possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, bail jumping (2 counts) and outstanding warrants.
EAST: Traffic Arrest – 4:40 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted. A 19-year-old male subject was arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC.
MIDTOWN: Death Investigation – 7:51 p.m. Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (86-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
MIDTOWN: Disturbance – 8:17 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 62-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
CENTRAL: Disturbance – 8:30 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving an armed 77-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, disorderly conduct and bail jumping (6 counts).

CENTRAL: Traffic Arrest – 1:03 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted. A 21-year-old male subject was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and bail jumping.
