The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

Priority calls only from 10:01pm-6:20am due to calls for service.

Central/Crash – 1:20pm: Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash with one of the vehicles rolling. Minor injuries sustained. A 54-year-old male driver was cited for yellow signal violation. A 75-year-old female subject was cited for red signal violation.

East/Death Investigation – 2:33pm: Officers responded to a residence for a deceased subject (65-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Hospice care in place. Nothing suspicious identified.  

East/Check Person – 2:43pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. Entry made and the subject was located down – awake and conscious. The subject was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation/treatment of their fall.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 8:24pm: A 38-year-old male subject stolen a victim's wallet recently and was using credit cards and gift cards. The subject was identified, located, and arrested.

North/Weapons Violation – 9:10pm: Officers responded to the 2500 block of Monterey Drive for a report of a disturbance with shots fired. Contact made with the victim. Two subjects were detained. A firearm was recovered. Incident Report on MPD's website completed. Investigation continuing.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 11:24pm: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a 37-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant, felony bail jumping (6 counts) and felon in possession of a concealed knife.
