City-Wide Notable Calls 07/11/2025 to 07/13/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

7/11
Priority calls only from 4:30pm to 8:20pm due to calls for service.
Priority calls only from 11:57pm to 2:23am due to calls for service.

North/Death Investigation – 8:23am: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (87-year-old male). Nothing suspicious identified. Medical Examiner's office responded.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 10:07am: Officers responded to a physical assault involving a 30-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.

South/Adult Arrested Person – 1:15pm: A wanted subject (62-year-old male) was observed and contacted. The subject was taken into custody and transported to jail on outstanding charges (threats to law enforcement and disorderly conduct).

East/Mental Health Conveyance – 3:52pm: Officers received a request from a local mental health resource to locate a subject who was out of compliance with a settlement agreement. The subject was located, contacted, and taken into protective custody. The subject was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance. Transport to Winnebago pending. Criminal charges forthcoming (battery to law enforcement, resisting, discharge bodily fluids at public safety worker). *Transport to Winnebago completed.

Central/Disturbance – 6:34pm: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect. Victim contacted who reported being physically assaulted all day by an adult child. Probable cause developed to arrest a subject who was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation. Final outcome pending reference a mental health evaluation/emergency detention. *Emergency detention supported. Subject transported to Winnebago.   

Central/Disturbance – 10:58pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 2:19am: Officers were advised that a 26-year-old male subject was pointing a gun at a group of people. The subject was located and detained. A loaded gun was located on the subject. The subject was arrested for 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, carrying a concealed weapon, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct while armed, and misdemeanor bail jumping.

West/Threats Complaint – 6:52am: Officers received a report of ongoing threats involving a 42-year-old male subject. Attempts made to locate the subject were unsuccessful. Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 11:24am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 56-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject. Officer contacted the subject on the phone and convinced him to turn himself in (domestic disorderly conduct).

Central/Battery – 11:40am: Officers responded to a physical disturbance involving a 17-year-old male subject (no longer on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

East/Intoxicated Driver – 12:59pm: Officers responded to a report of a male subject (64-year-old) unresponsive behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed into a fence. EMS arrived and took the driver out of the vehicle to provide medical aid. The subject was transported to a local hospital. The subject was arrested and transported to jail (after a medical clearance) for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (9th offense).

East/Theft – 1:33pm: Officers responded to a business for a retail theft in progress involving a 23-year-old male subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

Midtown/Disturbance – 2:29pm: Officers received a report of a physical disturbance. A 26-year-old male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery.

Central/Injured Person – 3:38pm: Officers responded, along with EMS, to an electric scooter crash. It was reported that the subject on the scooter failed to navigate a turn, crashed, and hit their head on the ground. The subject was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 12:30am: Officers responded to a report of vehicle damage with a suspect on scene (27-year-old male). The subject was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

Midtown/Check Person – 1:29am: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was contacted and taken into protective custody. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Emergency detention being sought. Final outcome pending. *Subject transported to Winnebago.

Central/Disturbance – 2:54am: A 39-year-old male subject was arrested for false fire alarm and cited for unlawful trespassing.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 4:47am: Officers responded to a 911 disconnect. A disturbance was found to have occurred involving a 76-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

West/Sexual Assault – 9:04am: Officers received a report of a sexual assault. Investigation continuing.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 10:04am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 42-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic criminal damage to property and domestic disorderly conduct.

North/Domestic Disturbance – 10:38am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and a probation/parole hold.

North/Domestic Disturbance –  11:29am: A man and woman in a domestic relationship got into an argument that turned physical. Probable cause developed to arrest an 18-year-old man with domestic false imprisonment, intimidation of a victim, battery, disorderly conduct, felony bail jumping.
 
Midtown/Domestic Disturbance –  2:12pm: A verbal argument took place between two people in a domestic relationship while in a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle began driving recklessly before pulling into a parking lot. The driver left the area and was found a few blocks away. A 26-year-old male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
 
Midtown/Disturbance –  6:07pm: Officers responded to an intoxicated man attempting to fight people, including teenagers. A 26-year-old man was taken to jail for battery, physical abuse to a child and disorderly conduct. 
 
West/Death Investigation –  6:31pm: Officers responded to a report of an 88-year-old man being found unresponsive. Life-saving measures were attempted. Nothing suspicious found at the scene.
 
South/Missing Juvenile/Runaway – 10:33pm: Officers respond to reports of a missing/runaway teenager.
 
Midtown/Domestic Disturbance –  11:03pm: Probable cause developed for a 23-year-old man for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic strangulation and theft following a physical argument with a woman.
 
East/Domestic Disturbance –  11:12pm: An intoxicated woman became physical with people inside a home. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for two counts of domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct while armed and physical abuse to a child.
