The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 6/17/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 6/18/2025, MPD received 396 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (75),East (92), Midtown (63), North (73), South (41), West (43), and Other (9). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Central/Trespass – 7:43am: Officers were requested by the property manager of Housing Initiatives to clear out squatters from a building. 4 subjects were located/contacted. All subjects were cited and released for unlawful trespassing after notification. 43-year-old male, 30-yaer-old male, 42-year-old female, 26-year old male.
East/Unwanted Subjects – 8:34am: Officers responded to concerns about van campers on East Towne Blvd who were littering on public and private property. Contact made with 4 subjects. A 38-year-old male subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Probation/parole notified.
East/Adult Arrested Person – 2:49pm: A subject (33-year-old female) called 911 10 times claiming that social security was defrauding her. The subject was advised to not call 911 again for the situation. The subject disregarded the officers' warning and called 4 more times. The subject was arrested for misuse of 911 system.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 3:50pm: Officers responded to a trespassing complaint involving a 61-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping, theft, and a burglary charge from a previous incident.
West/Adult Arrested Person – 3:51pm: An officer was conducting follow-up on a case and observed a wanted subject (32-year-old male). The subject got into a vehicle and was told by officers he was under arrest. The subject got into a physical altercation with an officer. The subject fled on foot and got into a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old female subject. The subjects fled in the vehicle. The driver/vehicle came to a stop. Both subjects were detained and arrested. The male subject was arrested for resisting, misdemeanor bail jumping, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, domestic strangulation, and 3rd degree sexual assault. The female subject was arrested for fleeing/eluding, harboring a felon, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 4:47pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed and threats to law enforcement.
Central/Disturbance – 9:39pm: Officers responded to a report of unwanted subjects as well as a previous 911 disconnect call. A 56-year-old male subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct while armed and felony intimidation of a victim. A 23-year-old male subject was arrested for obstructing.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 9:50pm: Two subjects (22-year-old male and 28-year-old male) interfered with a police investigation that they were not involved in. They were warned to move on and away but their behaviors continued. The 22-year-old was arrested for obstruction and threats to law enforcement. The second subject was arrested for obstructing.

Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 12:11am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 27-year-old female subject. The subject had been arrested the previous shift for domestic-related charges, had bailed out, returned home, and created another disturbance. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct with a felony enhancer.
Central/Domestic Disturbance – 2:21am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 22-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
