City-Wide Notable Calls 06/29/2022 to 06/30/2022

CENTRAL: Domestic Disturbance – 5:03 a.m. A man and woman were involved in a verbal and physical argument. Victim was struck several times. Probable cause established for domestic disorderly conduct.   

EAST: Missing Juvenile/Runaway – 8:18 a.m. A 17-year-old left her home on Tuesday night. There are no welfare concerns and contact was made with the teen over the phone. Probable cause developed to arrest the teen for unauthorized use of an individual's identifying information.

EAST: Road Rage – 3:00 p.m.  Victim flipped off a driver after being unhappy with the other man's driving. The suspect then began following the victim. Victim believed a weapon was flashed at him. Police found a large hunting knife and marijuana in the suspect's vehicle. Suspect also has an open felony case.   

EAST: Adult Arrested Person – 3:11 p.m.  Multiple callers reported an unwanted person panhandling at a restaurant. Man arrested on multiple warrants.

NORTH: Disturbance – 3:46 p.m.  Suspect made verbal threats against two other men. Suspect would not listen to officers when officers tried to intervene. Suspect made threats toward officers while in custody on the way to the Dane County Jail. Suspect arrested for two counts of disorderly conduct, resisting and obstructing and threats to a law enforcement officer. 

NORTH: Weapons Offense – 5:18 p.m.  Two people were injured during a shooting. Both were transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. No arrests at this time. Incident report completed. 

SOUTH: Weapons Offense – 8:28 p.m. Multiple callers reported shots being fired. Officers unable to locate any victims. Local hospitals notified of indict. Several shell casings found in the area. No property damage reported. No arrests at this time Investigation is ongoing.

WEST: Death Investigation – 11:51 p.m. Officers dispatched to assist with a woman experiencing a medical problem. Woman pronounced dead at the scene. Nothing suspicious at this time.

SOUTH: Intoxicated Driver/OMVWI – 9:52 p.m.  Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver hauling a boat. Officers made contact with the driver who appeared intoxicated. Driver refused to exit the vehicle and was arrested for 1st-offense OMVWI and resisting. 

CENTRAL: Drug Incident Overdose – 9:09 p.m.  Officers dispatched to a grocery store for an overdose. Drug paraphernalia found near the victim. Victim given Narcan and transported to a local hospital.


WEST: Sexual Assault of a Child – 12:47 a.m. Sexual assault of a child reported to Madison police. Officers investigating. CPS notified. 

NORTH: Missing Adult – 1:23 a.m. Officers took a report about a woman who has not been seen in a few days. Local hospitals checked. Family will continue to check in with police.
