City-Wide Notable Calls 7/30/2025 to 8/1/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 7/30/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 8/1/2025, MPD received 389 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (88),East (73), Midtown (56), North (59), South (38), West (57), and Other (18). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

South/Missing Adult – 4:56am: A 66-year-old male subject was reported as missing. Attempt to locate aired. Phone ping not successful. The subject was entered as missing in the appropriate databases.  

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 8:39am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 23-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct with a hate crime enhancer.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 1:12pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving an 18-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic damage to property, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, and misdemeanor bail jumping.

East/Juvenile Arrest – 2:45pm: A 12-year-old male subject was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Reception Center after getting into a physical altercation at home.                                                                                                                                        

North/Domestic Disturbance – 5pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 36-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, outstanding probable cause, and outstanding warrants.

Midtown/Adult Arrested Person – 9:53pm: Officers responded to a report of a 68-year-old male subject refusing to leave the premises of a medical facility. The subject started to call 911 numerous times requesting emergency services for several different falsified reasons. The subject was arrested for unlawful use of emergency telephone.

East/Armed Robbery – 11:45pm: Victims were approached by several armed suspects. Victims sustained minor injuries. A vehicle was stolen and later located unoccupied. Investigation continuing.
