City-Wide Notable Calls 8/8/2025 to 8/11/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 8/8/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 8/11/2025, MPD received 1,329 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (284),East (291), Midtown (210), North (207), South (151), West (160), and Other (26). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Priority calls only from 11:19pm to 11:57pm due to calls for service.

South/Domestic Disturbance – 4:47am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject (not located). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

Central/Damage to Property – 8:22am: Staff at the Juvenile Reception Center reported property damage caused by a 15-year-old juvenile resident. The juvenile was processed on the criminal damage to property charge and returned to the JRC.

North/Adult Arrested Person – 8:29am: An officer came upon a suspicious vehicle that was occupied by a 53-year-old male subject. Drugs were observed in plain view. The subject was found to have an outstanding warrant. A search of the vehicle yielded individually wrapped bags of marijuana. The subject was arrested on the outstanding warrant and possession with intent to deliver THC.

North/Domestic Disturbance – 11:27am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 19-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

North/Adult Arrested Person – 1:49pm: A 40-year-old male subject was arrested for violating a restraining order. The subject was transported to jail.     

East/Adult Arrested Person – 5:38pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.

Central/Substantial Battery – 5:50pm: A victim was physically assaulted and needed stitches for their injuries. No suspect identified. Investigation continuing.     

South/Runaway Juvenile – 8:08pm: A 15-year-old female subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as a runaway in the appropriate databases.

Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 11:07pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 28-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for intimidation of a victim and felony bail jumping.

East/Intoxicated Driver – 12:20am: A traffic stop was conducted. A 28-year-old male driver/subject was found to be impaired. He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (1st offense) and going armed while intoxicated. A 37-year-old male passenger was arrested for going armed while intoxicated.

North/Weapons Offense – 1:05am: Officers responded to a report of a subject shot.  The subject sustained non-life threatening injuries. Investigation continuing.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 8:08am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old male subject. The subject was cited for disorderly conduct, banned from a store, and released.

Midtown/Adult Arrested Person – 8:47am: A 55-year-old male subject was contacted about behaviors he engaged in that were affecting runners that were in a marathon. The subject resisted officers. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.

North/Adult Arrested Person – 12:56pm: Officers responded to a retail theft involving a 38-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Midtown/Disturbance – 3:05pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Central/Check Person – 4:49pm: Officers were alerted to a suspicious person who was approaching children. The subject was contacted. Probable cause was not developed for any criminal charges. The subject was issued a stalking letter and released.

Central/Adult Arrested Person – 10:33pm: Officers responded to a business after a 55-year-old male subject snapped a photo up the skirt of another subject. The subject was arrested for invasion of privacy.

South/Domestic Disturbance – 10:37pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 35-year-old male subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

Priority calls only from 4:18pm to 12:18am due to calls for service.

East/Noise Complaint – 2:58am: Officers responded to a report of a loud party. There were approximately 40-50 cars and an estimated 80 people at the location. A 34-year-old female subject was cited for having a nuisance party.

North/Crash – 10:59am: Officers responded to a vehicle vs. tree crash. The 19-year-old female driver was cited for imprudent speed due to witness statements of the vehicle/driver speeding.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 11:10am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 51-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large. *Subject located/arrested in Beloit. The subject was booked into jail.

North/Disturbance – 12:24pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 21-year-old male subject. The subject was cited for disorderly conduct and transported to detox.

West/Check Person – 1:09pm: Contact was made with a subject in a business parking lot. The subject attempted to flee but was apprehended/detained. The subject was transported to a local hospital where an emergency detention was sought/approved. Transport to Winnebago pending.

North/Domestic Disturbance – 3:55pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 37-year-old male subject. The subject fled in his vehicle as officers were responding. The subject was located and taken into custody. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (2nd offense), domestic disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and operating after revocation. He was also issued multiple traffic citations.

North/Check Person – 4:08pm: Officers received a request to check the welfare of a subject. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Emergency detention being sought. Final outcome pending. *Transport to Winnebago completed.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 4:36pm: A 27-year-old male subject with an outstanding warrant was observed by an officer. Contact made with the subject. The subject actively resisted officers. The subject was arrested on the outstanding warrant and a new charge of resisting.  

Midtown/Domestic Disturbance – 8:58pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 24-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic disorderly conduct while armed, criminal damage to property, resisting, and felony bail jumping.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 10:35pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 48-year-old female subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.
