City-Wide Notable Calls 9/3/2025 to 9/4/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 9/3/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 9/4/2025, MPD received 461 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (74),East (92), Midtown (85), North (74), South (57), West (70), and Other (9). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Midtown/Death Investigation – 5:20am: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (85-year-old female). Medical Examiner's office notified. Nothing suspicious identified.

East/Disturbance – 6:37am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 33-year-old male subject (not on scene when officers arrived). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject who also has PC from an incident last night. Subject remains at-large. *Subject taken into custody by probation/parole and conveyed to jail.

Midtown/Death Investigation – 6:55am: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (25-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Death appeared to be self-inflicted. Nothing suspicious identified at this time.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 11:28am: Officers had contact with a caller who wished to report continued unwanted contact involving a 17-year-old male subject (not on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

South/Sexual Assault – 2:04pm: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Investigation continuing.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 5:24pm: A 41-year-old male subject brought alcohol into the shelter, which is against the rules. The subject was asked to toss the alcohol and he refused. The subject was transported to jail to post on a citation for trespassing.

North/Sexual Assault – 5:58pm: Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Investigation continuing.

West/Runaway Juvenile – 6:37pm: A 13-year-old female subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The subject was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 9:55pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 44-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.

East/Disturbance – 10:51pm: Officers responded to a road rage incident involving a 54-year-old male subject. The subject broke the caller's vehicle window with a hammer. Caller and subject are acquaintances. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed, criminal damage to property while armed, and a probation hold.

Midtown/Check Person – 3:11am: A subject was brought into a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. An emergency detention was sought/approved. The subject was placed at a local facility and officers disengaged.
