City-Wide Notable Calls 9/5/2025 to 9/8/2025

The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to from Friday morning to Monday morning. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.

From 6:00 a.m. on 9/5/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 9/8/2025, MPD received 1,227 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (222),East (265), Midtown (201), North (207), South (153), West (157), and Other (22). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

West/Domestic Disturbance – 8:54am: Officers responded to a disturbance that occurred overnight involving a 28-year-old male subject. Probable cause developed to arrest the subject on numerous charges. The subject remains at-large.

North/Fire – 2:18pm: Officers responded, along with MFD, to a structure fire. Fire extinguished. Fire potentially intentionally set by a child. Investigation continuing.

West/Child Abuse – 3:02pm: Officers responded to a disturbance that occurred reference suspect heroin located next to an infant. Two children at the home. Both children transported to a local hospital for evaluations. Child Protective Services plugged in. Investigation continuing.

North/Child Abuse – 6:04pm: Officers responded to a report of child abuse involving a 34-year-old female subject. Child Protective Services responded to take custody of the children. The subject was arrested for physical abuse to a child.

East/Traffic Stop – 9:11pm: A traffic stop was conducted. The driver/subject (33-year-old male) stopped the vehicle and fled on foot. The subject was taken into custody. A 3D printed ghost handgun with an extended magazine was located in the vehicle. The subject was arrested for resisting, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of THC, carrying a concealed weapon, and a parole violation.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 10:03pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 38-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery and disorderly conduct.

North/Domestic Disturbance – 12:25am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 32-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for battery.

Central/Disturbance – 10:17am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 42-year-old female subject (no longer on scene). Probable cause developed to arrest the subject, who remains at-large.

Midtown/Check Person – 10:40am: Officers received information from the ME's office that they were alerted to a report of a subject who passed away yesterday.  Neither the ME's office or our agency was contacted when the death occurred.  Officers responded to check the welfare of the subject. The subject was alive but had significant injuries. A suspect is identified and is currently at-large. Investigation continuing.

Central/Road Rage – 10:43am: An argument took place after a driver almost struck a pedestrian in the roadway. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the driver/vehicle (54-year-old male). The subject stopped and then backed into a squad. The subject was uncooperative with officers. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct. Additional charges may be forthcoming.  

South/Assist EMS – 3:57pm: Officers responded to a report of a drug overdose. Naloxone administered. The subject was transported to a local hospital. The subject has a history of using drugs. No evidence of drug use confirmed at this time.

Midtown/Crash – 6:22pm: Officers responded to a report of a 2-vehicle crash with injuries. One driver was unconscious, regained consciousness, and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. That driver (39-year-old male) was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.

South/Disturbance – 8:33pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 43-year-old male subject. The subject attempted to walk away from officers shouting and cursing at them as he did so. The subject actively resisted as officers took him into custody. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.

South/Runaway Juvenile – 9:40pm: A 15-year-old male subject was reported as a runaway. Attempt to locate aired. The juvenile was listed as missing/runaway in the appropriate databases.

East/Check Area – 10:34pm: Officers responded to the 1200 block of N. Stoughton Rd for a report of shots fired. Video shows shots fired but no evidence of shots fired located (no injuries or property damage reported at this time).

Priority calls only from 1:27am to 11:32am due to calls for service.

Priority calls only from 8:50pm to 11:26pm due to calls for service.    

Central/Disturbance – 1:08am: Officers responded to a report of a male subject punching a female subject. Officers arrived quickly on scene, detained a subject, and had to handle a hostile crowd that formed. OC deployed. Subjects arrested/charged. A 30-year-old male subject has charges for battery (2 counts), battery to law enforcement, and resisting. A 23-year-olld male subject has charges for disorderly conduct and resisting. A 25-year-old female subject has a charge of disorderly conduct and a 4th subject (27-year-old female) was charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, attempted battery to law enforcement, and resisting.

East/Domestic Disturbance – 4:54pm: Officers received information from Milwaukee PD that a rolling disturbance occurred in our jurisdiction involving a 26-year-old male subject (who called Milwaukee PD themselves). Probable cause was developed and the subject was taken into custody by Milwaukee PD for domestic strangulation, domestic 2nd degree reckless endangering safety, domestic battery, and domestic disorderly conduct. MPD officers met up with Milwaukee PD to take custody of the subject. The subject was booked into jail.  

East/Strong Armed Robbery – 6:30am: Officers responded to a report of a strong armed robbery at a convenience store. A suspect (37-year-old male) was identified and ultimately tracked down/taken into custody. The subject was arrested for robbery and felony bail jumping.  

North/Disturbance – 10:23am: Officers responded to a clinic for an unwanted subject (47-year-old male) who refused to leave the premises. Officers spent a considerable amount of time in trying to gain voluntary compliance from the subject and even offered him a ride elsewhere but he refused. The subject was arrested for unlawful trespass after notification.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 12:57pm: A 55-year-old male subject was arrested for GPS with a domestic enhancer after he was found to have placed an air tag on the victim's vehicle.

West/Adult Arrested Person – 4:37pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving an 18-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property.

East/Adult Arrested Person – 5:22pm: A wanted subject (17-year-old male) was observed and taken into custody for obstructing, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping, a felony warrant, and criminal damage to property.

Midtown/Disturbance – 7:41pm: A victim reported a domestic occurred earlier in the day involving a 20-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic battery, domestic strangulation, and domestic disorderly conduct while armed.

South/Disturbance – 8:43pm: Officers responded to a report of a subject stating they were being attacked, that there were weapons, and there was a deceased subject. Numerous resources responded. Contact team formed and entry was made to the residence where several subjects were detained. The caller (54-yaer-old male) was ultimately taken into custody and arrested for misuse of 911 and resisting. There were no injuries located. The situation was found to have been made up. 

North/Battery – 11:17pm: A victim reported an attempted sexual assault. A 39-yaer-old male subject was arrested for battery, strangulation, and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Central/Domestic Disturbance – 11:23pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 34-year-old male subject. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct (2 counts), domestic battery (2 counts), and physical abuse to a child.
